How to pair SoundClip-A with your hearing aids
With SoundClip-A, you can make your hearing aids into a wireless stereo headset, or give your SoundClip-A to another person and use it as a microphone to transmit their voice to your hearing aids. It also allows you to connect your hearing aids to Bluetooth® devices such as computers.
For some phones and devices, a SoundClip-A is necessary to stream music and audio to your hearing aids.
Before you start
If you want to use your hearing aids with both your SoundClip-A and your phone, you need to pair your hearing aids with both devices.
Pairing hearing aids with SoundClip-A

Ensure SoundClip-A is powered off.
Press and hold the multi-button for approximately six seconds until the power indicator is off.

Turn your hearing aids off.
- For hearing aids with disposable batteries, open the battery drawer
- For rechargeable hearing aids, turn them off by pressing the lower button of each hearing aid for three seconds

Turn your hearing aids on.
- For hearing aids with disposable batteries, close the battery drawer
- For rechargeable hearing aids, turn them on by pressing the lower button of each hearing aid for two seconds, or put them in the charger and then take them out again
The hearing aids are now ready for the first connection with the SoundClip-A. You now have three minutes to complete the pairing.

Turn SoundClip-A on.
Press and hold the multi-button for approximately three seconds until power indicator shows steady green.
SoundClip-A will now search for your hearing aids. The status indicator will blink yellow.

Establish a connection.
Place SoundClip-A close to your hearing aids, at a maximum distance of 20cm.
A successful connection is indicated by the status indicator showing steady yellow.
Pairing SoundClip-A with your phone

Put SoundClip-A in phone pairing mode.
Press and hold the multi-button AND the volume up button for about six seconds until the status indicator blinks blue.
The SoundClip-A will remain in pairing mode for about three minutes.

Begin pairing on your mobile phone.
Ensure that Bluetooth® is turned on in your phone’s Settings.
Search for and select SoundClip-A to connect to it.
If your phone requests a pin code, enter 0000.
Pairing is complete when the SoundClip-A status indicator light illuminates steady blue.
