Compatibility of Bernafon hearing aids and apps

Hearing aid compatibility

Android:

Bernafon Alpha supports ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) and needs Android 10. With ASHA, you can stream audio from your mobile device directly to your Alpha hearing aids.

Direct Audio Streaming to Alpha hearing aids has been tested on the following devices:

Google: Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4

Samsung: Galaxy Note 10 (SM-N970U/U1), Galaxy Note 10+ (SM-N975F), Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F), Galaxy S10 (SM-G973U/U1), Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F), Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975U1), Galaxy S20 (SM-G980F), Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F), Galaxy A71

OnePlus: 7T, 8T

Please note, that Benafon EasyControl-A app is compatible with devices running on the operating system iOS 13 or above, and Android 8.0 and above. If your device is not listed, it is still possible for it to be compatible with the Bernafon EasyControl-A app.

We recommend you to always update your device to the latest version of the operating system.

If your device is not listed above, it is possible for it to be compatible with SoundClip-A if it meets the following requirement: Bluetooth­ 2.1 or later.

To pair the SoundClip-A with the Phone Adapter 2, please perform the following steps:

1. Put the Phone Adapter 2 into pairing mode
   Make sure the Phone Adapter 2 is powered on, i.e., the power indicator is steady green.
2. Put the SoundClip-A into pairing mode
   Press and hold the multi button AND volume up button for about 6 seconds until status indicator BLINKS BLUE (The SoundClip-A will be in pairing mode for about 3 minutes).
3. Place the SoundClip-A on top of the Phone Adapter 2
   The pairing takes approximately 20–60 seconds.
4. Pairing completed
   The power indicator on the Phone Adapter 2 and the status indicator on the SoundClip-A turn steady blue. Pairing only needs to be performed once and normally does not have to be repeated.

The SoundGate app may be compatible with other devices but they were not tested.
